In my day and age, we would just get a plain pvc or plastic sheet and set a hosepipe running on it. It worked for the most part and we had tonnes of fun.

Check out the Slip n slide double wave rider here >>>

Well the simple slip n slide has been revamped as the Wham-O Slip ‘N Slide Double Wave Rider. This is a must have inflatable water toy to keep young kids entertained this Summer, find out more but this simple but fun toy.

So the Slip and Slide double wave rider has taken the idea of the slip and slide and turned it into a competition. They have two separate tracks and an a winner touch pad and water reservoir at the end. Kids can race their friends to see who gets to the winner touch pad first. It’s that simple, but like most great toys, it lets the kids use their imagination to come up with knew ways to play with it. It also gets them outside and enjoying the warm weather. It’s a very social toy too and fits in well with outdoor birthday parties for children or just when a gang of your son’s buddies come over.

This toy is really made for youngish children, say 5 – 10 years of age. However some reports suggest that older kids and adults have had some good usage of of the slip n slide. The reason it is mainly aimed a smaller children is that the length of the track is probably a bit short for adults. It is reported to be 16 ft in length.

This water toy is simple to set up. Simply roll it out on some flat area of land (ideally you want it on grass or lawn). Be careful not to place it on rough ground or an area that is likely to have sharp rocks or stones underneath. For obvious reasons, the sharp rocks might hurt a slider as they traveled over it and may also tear or rip the canvas material of the slide.

Once you have rolled the slide out, connect it to you garden hosepipe and turn the water on. The water from the hosepipe ensures that there is a slick ride down the slide. Great fun for young children during the warm summer months and a great way to get exercise in an enjoyable manner.

There are all sorts of toys to make your time in the pool even better. Most toys are aimed at children but adults can play with them too.
