Inflatable Water Toys – Your Kids Will Spend Hours Of fun In The Pool With These Toys

With Summer just around the corner, thoughts turn to getting outside more often and soaking up a bit of sunshine. For kids that seem to have boundless amounts of energy this involves playing with there friends from breakfast through to dinner time. A favorite for most kids during these times, especially school holidays, is the pool. They just love to play games either in the pool or around it. They can spend all day jumping in and out of the pool when the weather is fine. Various equipment and toys can make this time more fun. To this extent, here is a selection of inflatable water toys to look at. Although most are for children, I’m sure adults can have a bit of fun with them too.

Inflatable water toys fall into a few categories. There are the inflatable toy animals like ducks, dolphins, killer whales and seals that you can lie on when you are in the pool – sort of animal themes loungers. Children can paddle around the pool on these toys. One better than these is the inflatable bumper cars, boats and jet skis. Some of these items are just for lounging around in the pool while others have small motors that can propel the toy around the pool.

Some, like the bumper cars can be great fun if you have a few. Start a game of bumper wars in the pool. There is a steering mechanism so that you can have ram your friends. Other inflatable boats have items like water cannons on them. This can also be lots of fun for kids to spray their friends with and generally have boat battles in the pool.

Inflatable toy animals are always a fun toy with kids. They can relate to the animal as they may have seen it on TV as a cartoon character or even a wild life program.  Most of these toys are pool floats where the kids will sit on top of it (or ride it in their mind) and float around the pool. The propulsion of the toy is usually provided by the kids kicking their legs and arms to get it moving.

Older kids might ride their favorite animal and have pretend races against their buddies who are mounted on their own inflatable animal.

See Me Sit Pool Riders are made for babies. They are essentially an inflatable baby seat with various animal types designs on them. They are great for letting your baby get their feet and legs wet. They are simply an inflatable ring with a middle seat and holes for the legs. Some have a shade to keep your baby cool and in the shade. These are a great way to introduce your infant to water for the first time but of course they should be used with strict supervision by an adult.

Other inflatable toys include water slides, goals and volley ball nets for water polo or water volley ball.

Many of these products are aimed at children, in particular, and can often split along the seams or spring a leak if adults use them too much. Check before you buy that the product can take your weight or are designed for both children and adults. They are great fun when they are in working order but it get pretty frustrating when they spring a leak and go down.
